Candidates will demonstrate five years management experience, a minimum of two years working with children and young people and a commitment to personalised, child-centred services.

Role:
Edinburgh Young Carers Project is seeking suitably experienced applicants to join its team developing and providing high quality support to young carers in Edinburgh as a part-time Project Manager for our Schools Awareness Campaign. The postholder will be expected to work directly with a variety of schools in Edinburgh, which will include delivering presentations and workshops. Contact with a number of other support organisations will also be required.
We would expect applicants to have had some experience of managing, monitoring and evaluating a project.

We are also seeking suitably experienced applicants to join our team developing and providing high quality support to young carers in Edinburgh as a full-time Young Carers Worker.
The postholder will be expected to work directly with young carers from the age of 5 to 20 on an individual basis and in groups and contribute to increasing quality and further developing support. Work includes following up new referrals, delivery of person centred planning and service provision, developing new opportunities, working in partnership with other agencies and assisting Edinburgh Young Carers Project to meet objectives.
